Rowe's innovative industry leadership, landmark
achievements in the development of water skiing coupled with his length of
dedication and service to the industry, made him a clear choice for this
prestigious award.
From the first to bring fuel injected engines to
the market to introducing an innovative green technology 3 years earlier
than regulation that reduces exhaust emissions, just because it was the
right thing to do.
Not only has Chuck changed the way the sport is
powered, he was also one of the original supporters of the Pro Tour and
the AWSEF. He is a true believer in the athletes and has always made sure
the athletes were funded thru Indmar's sponsorship. Rowe and Indmar have
always been more than just a check to the sport.
He served on the
American Water Ski Educational Foundation as a trustee from 1990-2001.
