                 IWSF Hall of Fame Honorees and Family

The decision was made by the International Water Ski Federation (IWSF) Executive Board to reaffirm their position of 1997 to house the International Water Ski Hall of Fame within the American Water Ski Educational Foundation's (AWSEF) existing building located adjacent to Interstate 4 Exit 44 between Orlando and Tampa, Florida USA.

As a result of this re-affirmation and decision to immediately get started with the project, a USA citizen anonymous donor pledged $30,000US, dedicated to the International Water Ski Hall of Fame. Also, noted Barefooter, "Banana" George Blair of Winter Haven, Florida made a donation of $25,000US.

The minimum goal of fund raising has been set at $250,000US.  a meaningful exhibit was installed by the 2003 World Championships and dedicated during the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, even though the goal was not reached. The amount to date raised is $122,000. Exhibits and space expensed at $105,000, a remaining balance of $16,500. New members of the Hall are selected in the year of the World Water Ski Championships and displayed in the IWSF Hall of Fame exhibit.

For the preservation and expansion of the IWSF Hall of Fame exhibit $125,000 should be placed in an Endowment Fund . This can happen with your help.
